More than 900 UK church buildings are at risk of being closed even though they are a national asset, according to the National Churches Trust. Its report into the future of UK church buildings is discussed in this online Religion Media Centre briefing, which heard that most can be saved for a relatively small amount of funding and the whole community should be engaged in deciding their future.
