1100: Muslims in Britain: Poonam Taneja, investigative journalist with BBC News, will chair a panel discussion on the diversity, organisations and concerns of British Muslims, with Dr Azim Ahmed, Akeela Ahmed, Burhan Wazir and Rizwana Hamid.
1145: Dal Darroch, head of diversity and inclusion programmes at the Football Association, will be talking about how faith and football can create an ‘extraordinary synergy that brings people together’.
1200: Reporting Religion — panel discussion chaired by Rosie Dawson with journalists specialising in reporting religion, including Christopher Lamb from CNN and freelance Catherine Pepinster, on the death of Pope Francis and the election of Pope Leo XIV.
1330: British Media and British Jews: panel discussion chaired by Richard Allen Greene, formerly CNN Editor, now training to be a rabbi, with guests Jonathan Boyd, IJPR; Rabbi Charley Baginsky; and Phil Rosenberg, President of the Board of Deputies.
1415: Community relations in Britain today and the media’s role in creating cohesion: Panel discussion hosted by Leo Devine, with Lord Rook, Gary Newby ITV, Yakub Qureshi, Reach PLC; Manjit Kaur, Rabbi Warren Elf, MBE and Prof Adeela Shafi.
1510: Presentation of Community Reporting Award for Young Journalists
1515: Religion, Politics and the Media in Trump’s America: Interview with Sir Mark Thompson, chief executive of CNN and former director-general of the BBC.
1615: Millennials, Faith and the Digital Space: Jessie Paktiazay hosts with guests: Swarzy Macaly, Indy and Dr. Sikh, Islah Abdur-Rahman & Lamorna Ash, with reflection by Daisy Scalchi, BBC commissioning editor, specialist factual.
1715: A brief history of religious broadcasting, with comedian Paul Kerensa

Final three members of the commission to appoint the next Archbishop of Canterbury have been announced. Rev Estella Last, David Berry and Sally-Ann Marks represent the Diocese of Canterbury. The commission will meet three times with the announcement expected this autumn >>
John Sherrington was installed as the new Catholic Archbishop of Liverpool the day after a car crashed into people celebrating Liverpool FC’s Premier League victory.
