A tumultuous week for the King, heckled outside Lichfield Cathedral, although inside, the Dean said they were honoured to welcome him. Days later he carried on official duties by visiting Neasden Temple, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Representatives from Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist and Christian traditions took part in a national celebration to mark 60 years of interfaith dialogue initiated by Second Vatican Council, recognising “rays of truth and goodness reflected in other religions”. View the celebration here

Jewish community leaders called on ministers to adopt a national strategy to tackle antisemitism across policing, universities and civil society. Keir Starmer re-commimtted to rooting out antisemitism saying: “it is our national moral duty to see it through”.

A Halloween fancy-dress pub party in Derry 40 years ago, has grown to become the largest festival in Europe, attracting more than 100,000 visitors.
